About Fuquay - Phillips 
This Tree consists of four main Branches: Fuqua/Fuquay, Phillips, Lane and Carter.  The Fuquay Branch includes many Lunsford entries.

My Maternal Line directly descends from Margaret Fuquay Lunsford, through her son Lorenzo.  Lorenzo's daughter Dovie married my ggrandfather William Phillips.  The Fuqua Line has been traced back to the birth of William about 1769.

Off-branches of the Maternal Line are the Phillips & Lane Families.  The Lane's have been positively traced back to one Osborne Lane (b. about 1750) in Marion County SC (later Dillon County).

My Paternal Line consists of Willie C. Carter & Minnie Jackson Carter - little is known of them other than they were from Marion/Dillon County SC.

The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list.
